Mallory took us on as clients after nearly five (5) years on the hunt for a house on the water. She readily obtained a clear picture of what we had looked at, and what we wanted in a property. She culled through current and upcoming listings and literally beat the pavement to arrange showings. There were no wasted viewings and to say she was spot on with what we toured is an understatement. I think what made the showings was her preparation and understanding of the client and market. Mallory put the homework in.

One other point to credit Mallory on was she got us out of our comfort zone and provided a keen perspective on value. This effort opened a broader range and better perspective for our search.

Mallory found our house that was a near perfect match for our “asks”. Contracting, inspections, and closing was very smooth even with a unique property issue that arose during due diligence of title search. Mallory was effectively engaged, proactive, and an advocate for us as buyers throughout the process.

She was hired in July 2025 to sell a property in Maryland.

As a first-time home buyer, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better realtor than Cheryl Bare and her amazing assistant, Melinda Sasscer. I completely deferred to her recommendations for my lender, title company, etc., and I’m so glad I did—she only works with the best! What stood out most was how responsive she was—whether it was a quick question or something urgent, she would reply immediately or within 15 minutes. That helped me really refine my search and focus on the right homes. We are long-time property investors with experience in Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, and Calvert. In late 2024 we decided to sell one of our single-family rental properties in Bowie but the uncertainty in the greater real-estate market was challenging. We had performed major upgrades inside and out, and the home was in a quiet neighborhood near several parks, but it was proving difficult to find buyers willing to pay market value.

Although we had a long relationship with our realtor we decided to make a change after several months of limited showings with no offers. We interviewed several well-reviewed realtors and the range of professionalism and preparedness was rather surprising. Out of a number of real estate teams we interviewed, Cheryl Bare & the Home Pros stood out.

Cheryl and Mallory came prepared with a detailed slide deck, modern sales strategies specific to our property, local comps, and projected contract costs. Mallory detailed an online marketing strategy, benefits of new photos and video walkthroughs, and options for staging the home. Cheryl provided multiple scenarios and pricing dependent on foot traffic and time-on-market as well as recommended next steps. They both were the epitome of professionalism and competence and gave us confidence in choosing them to represent us. The team went to work immediately, pulled the listing down for re-tooling, took a completely new set of professional photos inside and out, and recommend a staging company who worked efficiently and made the house very beautiful. The new listing went live and we saw an immediate increase in showings. The team shared all viewing activity and let us know prospective buyer's remarks daily. Behind every remark, I know how much time the team had spent encouraging buyers’ agents to detail their client's experiences. This helped us understand the buyers needs and what directions and improvements/changes we should consider.

Finally, in a little over two weeks, we had an offer. Cheryl’s superb negotiation strategies shined and she listened and understood our needs as sellers. From accepting the offer, signing the contracts, settlement day, and all the stuff going on in between, the team was efficient, honest, professional, and made us feel that we were truly partners working towards one goal.

Susan & I want to express how pleased we have been that Cheryl Bare and her Century 21 New Millennium team of experts helped us navigate the sometimes turbulent waters of residential real estate transactions over the years. Chefyl represented us on 3 sales, 1 purchase, and 2 referrals over the years.

We met Cheryl when seeking to sell Susan's mothers house in Waldorf, MD. Cheryl lit up the room with her personality and impressed us with her thorough knowledge and presentation.
