Cheryl O Brien went above and beyond for my wife and I, she not only got us into first home she also helped us with our first sale of our home and helped us with our second home. Although her office was in gig harbor she always made time for my wife and I to see homes all over from Kent, Auburn, federal way and so on. We bought our second home in Bonney lake and she was never late for any of our appointments. Her vast years of experience is proven, she’s professional, caring, honest and up front about everything good or bad. Cheryl made our home buying and selling experience easy! We decided to purchase a home during very challenging times in a highly competitive market, from a different state.
Cheryl is a seasoned and very apt realtor. She possesses a keen and trained eye to quickly scan and pickup on possible issues. Thanks to her good intuition, we dodged not one, but two situations that would have landed us in a quickly depreciating real estate investment due to plans to develop land nearby. And this was not even Cheryl’s area/ territory. Her decades of expertise are truly invaluable and made us feel 100%comfortable with her advice and suggestions. Culminating, ultimately, in the decision to purchase a home without seeing it in person. We would have never done that, but felt confident enough with Cheryl’s cautious and confident approach. She masterfully guided us through a highly emotional process of competitive bidding, gently ushering us back, recalibrating the compass when panic and despair reared their ugly heads.
I was impressed with the array of knowledge she presented when writing contracts. We were able to appreciate her sharpness and depth of knowledge when crafting several contracts made to safeguard her clients against specific issues that she could foresee. Her continued involvement in several organizations and legislative bodies in real estate add an immeasurable solid foundation to her ability to guide her clients in making the most sound decision.
She is a great listener, kind, empathetic, and relentless. She is quick to find answers and seek information where needed. She dedicates herself fully to to her clients and cares deeply.
Simply amazing.

From the start, she presented me with a detailed analysis preparations and her experiences, knowledge, and she was hired on the spot. Throughout the sale process she informed me anything I needed to know and most of all she was so prompt any questions I had. Cheryl was referred to us because she already had a great reputation. Also notable is that we were relocating from out of state, so much of our communication was remote. That could pose a challenge, but it was a major advantage that she was a professional, she was organized, she made herself available, she was responsive, she knew how to balance "when to call" vs. when to text or email, etc. Our first homefinding trip with her went very well. My family of 4 piled into her car, and she had info prepared to view 6 houses we had previewed online. She was patient with us (and our kids!). She knew the community well and was able to speak to the various pros and cons as we made our considerations. With her help, we found the right house, then we were able to further lean on her experience to deal with an inexperienced seller's agent, a less-than-cooperative seller (who was also out of state), and a tedious loan approval process. I trusted Cheryl to speak directly with my mortgage broker to strategize on critical date/time commitments. She was great in that regard. I will close with noting that we have also been appreciative of her follow-up contact and communication well after the real estate transaction. She knows we're new to the community, and she's helped to make us feel welcome. I could share more, but to summarize: Cheryl would be the first we would recommend to anyone.
