Chip Abernethy

Chip Abernethy started his career in real estate in 2001 after graduating from the University of Tennessee. He joined The Litchfield Company in 2003. Starting out at the Murrells Inlet Office, he specialized in on-site sales while assisting in developing one of Prince Creek’s most exclusive communities, Bellwood Landing. Chip now works at the Litchfield Main office of The Litchfield Company where he sells general brokerage property as well as works with his father and Abernethy Development, LLC in real estate development. Aside from work, Chip enjoys golf, snow skiing and boating. Most of his time is happily spent with his wife, Mary, and two daughters, Alex and Avery. Chip is an active member of Pawleys Island Community Church.
