Chris Barber

Chris first started working for the firm in 1994 as an independent painting contractor while also attending Washington State University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science and in 1999 decided to come indoors and joined the management team to become a Portfolio Community Manager.

Chris transitioned into the head of the Community Management Department and over the next 10 years managed a diverse portfolio of Condominium and HOA communities while also managing the Community Management Portfolio’s overall growth to over 60 communities in Washington and Oregon.

Chris took over the daily operations of the entire firm in 2008 which allowed his father Steve to step back and pursue more specific career interests. Chris has served as an expert witness in several legal proceedings including a multi-million dollar condominium construction defect case and multiple tenant-landlord cases. Continuing the firm’s strong belief in education Chris sat on the OWCAM Board of Directors for several years.
