About Chris

A New York native, Chris’ parents moved to South Florida during the mid-1960's and then came to Tallahassee in 1981. Tallahassee is a beautiful place to live, and Chris wouldn't want to have raised her 3 children anywhere else. Over the years until her children were grown, Chris was always fascinated with the Real Estate industry and so in January 2003 she launched her career in this business and today she is a Top Producer in her local industry.

In 2006 as the market started to decline, Chris was offered the opportunity to re-sale foreclosure homes. Bank Foreclosures, also known as REO Properties, made up quite a bit of her inventory. Now with foreclosures declining but still above what Chris would consider normal levels then when she first started selling in 2003, it is finally back to a sellers’ market in 2017. Inventory is low and properties in demand, a good time for any seller to be able to list and sell their property especially if they tried to sell last 5 years.

If you are thinking about listing your home, her services include a marketing plan to help decide what monies you should or shouldn't spend getting your property ready for market. Chris has a number of contractors that can also assist with any repairs or maintenance work to be done too. For buyers, Chris encourages you to always sit down with a local lender. A lender will help determine your ability to purchase, monies you will need for down payment and closing costs and most importantly, what your monthly mortgage payment will be before you start the home search process. In this area Chris can provide services to help you get started and sit down with a lender to further assist.

Other specialties include horse properties and land only purchases. Chris is an avid horse person herself and knows it can be hard to find “horse ready property” if you work with an agent who is not a horse person themselves and doesn’t have a clue what to look for. Her experience in this area can help a newcomer to Tallahassee explore the areas of town best suited for their lifestyle and “farm animal” needs.
