Greetings! We are Main Place Real Estate, and I am Chris Harrison, the Managing Broker. As a seasoned professional, I bring a diverse background and a wealth of experience to our dynamic real estate team.

Raised on a farm in Western Illinois, I learned the value of hard work from a young age. Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Culver Stockton College, I initially ventured into sales and entrepreneurship before transitioning to the world of banking. My extensive banking experience in Decatur encompassed various roles, including Commercial Relationship Manager and Lender, providing a strong financial and analytical foundation. My banking experience was complemented by earning my Masters in Business Administration from Millikin University.

My journey in real estate began in 2013, as an individual agent with Brinkoetter and Associates. My business quickly grew earning me the Rising Star Award from the Decatur Association of Realtors in 2015. In 2018, Main Place Real Estate was formed and has since grown to number three in volume sold in Macon County.
