Chris Johnson

Chris was born in SW Virginia and has lived in the New River Valley for over 20 years. Since graduating from Virginia Tech in 2000, providing outstanding customer service has been his priority. The majority of his career has been spent as a mortgage professional, and now he plans to deliver the same top-notch service to his real estate clients. Chris’ can-do attitude, responsiveness, and mortgage knowledge make him a valuable asset to his clients and REMAX 8.

Chris is the Head Wrestling Coach at Blacksburg High School and also of the New River Valley Wrecking Krew Wrestling Club. Prior to that, Chris served as an Assistant Coach for 10 years to the reigning 16-time state champion Christiansburg Wrestling Team, and has served as a volunteer coach for local rec League football, wrestling and baseball. He is also a 2009 National Champion Jet Ski Racer, and loves spending time at Claytor Lake with his family. Chris also enjoys playing golf, with wife Rachel and stepson Adam as frequent partners.
