About Chris

Chris brings over 20 years of real estate sales experience to every client relationship. Raised on a farm in Woodstock, Vermont, he developed a lifelong appreciation for the land, its history, and the quiet beauty of New England living.
After graduating from Bowdoin College, Chris began his career in New York City in magazine advertising sales, where he met his wife, Carole. He later earned his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, working in management consulting and at an Internet startup before returning to Vermont in 2003 to raise their three sons.
Chris began his real estate career in 2005, and just three years later set a Vermont state record for the highest residential sale at the time - a private transaction in 2008. After many years with both Sotheby’s and Christie’s affiliates, he founded Bravynia in 2025 as a refined alternative to traditional firms, offering clients greater freedom and choice in how their properties are revealed and marketed, with an emphasis on discretion and privacy.
