By way of an update to my post above, Chris closed the sale of my final lot; the successful completion of a 5 year subdivision project. I have gotten to know Chris and her staff extremely well (since 2016) and could not be happier with her performance. Her dedication to resolving the myriad of issues arising from the subdivision process in Calvert County was magnificent and something I have enormous respect for… As I stated last year, there is no more professional real estate agent in southern Maryland than Chris McNelis. Thank you Chris for all the work you did on my behalf.

Chris McNelis at Berkshire Hathaway has sold several of my properties in 2020/2021. My properties went on a contract within a few weeks after being listed. Chris sold my houses hassle free with peace of mind and without any stress. Staff are very professional and responsive. They were available to help with inspection requirements and repairs in terms of finding a reasonable contractor, etc. All my emails and text messages were responded within minutes, 24/7 and even on holidays. I believe Berkshire Hathaway’s advertising expertise, specialty in contracts, and property description write up are keys to their success. In my opinion, Chris McNelis at Berkshire Hathaway is the BEST.

Chris was recommended to us by a friend who had worked with her to purchase her previous two homes, one in Calvert County and one in St. Mary’s. We are very grateful for the recommendation because Chris did not disappoint. She was always quick to communicate either by phone, text or email. She knew what we were looking for and reached out immediately when she found something that had just come on the market that met our criteria. She put us in touch with other professionals who were also experienced and motivated, like a surveyor, a mortgage banker, and a home inspector with whom she had done business before. When we found a property we liked, Chris moved very quickly and provided us with excellent advice on what the market was, what a fair offer would be, and how to make sure our offers were taken seriously. In short, she was the consummate professional and delivered the superior service we expected.
