About Chris

Chris Schilling’s career spans fifteen years and includes the Investment Finance, Mortgage Finance, and Real Estate industries. Chris has focused his entire profession on consulting for and managing financial risk.

Chris began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1995 where he spent eight years conducting buy-side research and portfolio management. After relocating to Texas in 2003, Chris turned his attention to his strengths of managing real estate risk and spent four-in-a-half years with a local relocation company.

In 2007, he founded Minerva to bring to the industry new and innovative real estate solutions designed to better help manage the increasing challenges and risks associated with transacting in residential real estate.

Chris is a Southern California native and graduate of the California State University, Long Beach, where he earned degrees in both Finance and Marketing.
