Chris Selle was born and raised in Columbia, Mo and after high school, attended the University of Missouri. After graduating with a BS Finance and BA in psychology. Chris started his career in the financial services industry as an auto claims adjuster, before moving to Lee’s Summit in 2013. From the insurance field, Chris transitioned to working for a retirement plan provider where he spent over 8 years in a wide range of roles, including client services, data analytics, and leadership.
During this time Chris, also attended UMKC receiving a Master of Science – Finance. With working in Overland Park, going to school at UMKC, and living in Lee’s Summit, Chris decided to move to Waldo in 2015, where he still resides with his wife Jessica.
Chris feels very blessed to have started a journey in real estate with Wardell & Holmes. Ever since starting his first company, rental maintenance/ lawn care business during high school, Chris has wanted to “be his own boss”. That drive combined with years of work experience helping customers through often financially challenging times, and a data centric background, made real estate a prefect next step.
When not working, Chris spends a lot of time fly fishing and currently serves on the local Mo-Kan Trout Unlimited chapter board. Besides fish and conservation, Chris loves to travel near or far, and food, be it cooking dinner for his wife or dining at a local restaurant.
