Christian Hargreaves

Christian’s family moved from Norway to the historic fishing community of New Bedford, Mass. where his father was employed as a deep-sea fisherman on the vessel Commonwealth. Tragically, he was one of many brave fishermen who died at sea and whose name is now commemorated on an engraved plaque at the historic New Bedford Seamen’s Bethel – a small chapel built in 1832 and immortalized in the novel Moby Dick. However, a career in fishing was not on Christian’s radar. The family eventually moved on to Florida in 1977.

Christian, attended Plantation middle school and Plantation High School in Plantation, FL. After high school, Christian got his B.A. degree in Computer Science with Honors from The University of Florida. Upon graduation Christian got a job working for IBM and remained living in Gainesville and working for IBM for 10 years. After leaving Gainesville, Christian worked for PowerCerv and Computer Associates in Tampa before moving to Lake Clarke Shores in 2009. In 2016 Christian became licensed as a Realtor Associate and began working part time at Coldwell Banker with Judith. In addition to Palma Properties, Christian currently works with Southdale Properties and CyberSecure IT Solutions.
