During the initial walkthrough we determined what work needed to be done prior to listing and the likely listing price. Once that work was completed, Christina and her staging person did a fantastic job to ensure the property presented in the best possible light. There was no additional cost for staging - Christina includes that as part of her seller's commission. Christina was always quick to answer our questions and help alleviate the concerns that we had regarding the sale. We had lived in our home for 52 years and it can be very emotional to make the decision to sell. We had to have an entire septic system replaced which was extremely expensive....an expense we didn't expect. We had in our mind what we wanted to ask for our home and she thought we were a little high. I'm sure that is always the case with a seller. She explained very well what she thought about the value and we settled on an agreeable amount. We painted the inside which she suggested and she had it staged. It was remarkable difference in appearance and we were so glad we followed her suggestions. The house sold in 10 days and we were thrilled. Christina is a pleasant person to work with and always was on time, answered her phone and always had time for our questions. She kept us informed of everything as we went along. I was so impressed when Christina and I first meet, she was informative on property comparisons, extremely knowledgeable on the real estate industry market and the area we were selling in, what type of buyers would be interested in the property and the best avenues to reach them.

As a first-time home buyer in one of the most challenging housing markets in recent memory, Christina was my ideal guide throughout the entire experience. She was able to reassure me when I got skittish without ever pressuring me to do anything I was uncomfortable with. She is honest about pricing and explains pricing strategies and changes in the market clearly. She gave good advice on what needed to be done with the home prior to selling, and while we were doing that she was watching the market closely in our area for pricing, sales, and days on market. Christina was an amazing realtor. After having difficulties with another local real estate firm and agent my wife and I were desperate to find someone who could be more professional and helpful. We were introduced to Christina and she was exactly what we needed.

My wife has complicated tastes in housing and I am pretty ignorant on the topic, which has to be a nightmare combination for a realtor. Christina was able to hone in on her preferences and help me understand the nitty gritty of home buying and our choices. As first time home buyers it was important to have someone who could explain everything patiently and thoroughly. There is no one I would recommend more than Christina. In fact – I have recommended her to friends and family. My appreciation could not be summed up in any amount of words. She has all of the desirable qualities of an agent – knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Even with those strong qualities as a high baseline, she still exceeded my expectation of an agent during the whole process, by providing advice and insight on factors that I would not have considered on my own. Christina was incredibly patient during my search, and made herself readily available for any homes I wanted to see. She took the time to know what factors were important to me, and in turn, ended up saving me a lot of time and energy I would have spent seeing homes that Christina could already tell were not a good fit for me.

Example: Christina got to know at our first meeting that I wanted a place that was “move in ready.” I was willing to paint perhaps one wall and put up one closet rod, but that was about it. It is often hard to see small water damage, cracks, and little details that would deter me in photos. Christina did just about everything for me at one point or another. She stopped by a home and took a peek in before I viewed it to let me know there was a crack in the garage. She called a listing agent to inquire about a spot on the ceiling her keen eyes caught that mine couldn’t (ended up being a small bit of water damage). All of her pre-work/inspection bringing attention to “deal breakers” for me saved a lot of time on my part.

I look forward to working with her again in the future when the time comes to sell/buy a home.

Christina Jarvis was an excellent choice to be our realtor when I had the need to sell my mother’s home. Our first meeting was scheduled timely and Christina was thoroughly prepared and very professional. I live out of state so all of our communications thereafter we by phone, email, electronic submissions. Her attention to detail and regular communication was superb. She prepared a report of the offers submitted and walked us through the detail. We signed an offer 6 days after listing on a holiday weekend. She ensured we met the 30 day closing agreement. Christina surrounds herself with knowledgeable and professional assistants and services. I highly recommend Christina as one you can rely on and trust.
