Chris is a San Diego native and graduate of Rancho Bernardo HS, where he marched drumline. He furthered his education at MIT in Boston, earning his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Upon completing his studies and in search of a faster pace, Chris moved to New York City, embarking on a noteworthy 15-year career in finance. His roles spanned trading and portfolio management across various banks and hedge funds, eventually leading him to London, where he co-launched a fixed income hedge fund that he helped grow to manage over a billion dollars in assets by the time he left. Chris explored Europe in his free time and cultivated a diverse skill set, but remained dedicated to his roots, purchasing his first property in the Bird Rock area over 10 years ago. After 3 years abroad, he returned to NYC, where he met his wife. They weathered the pandemic with frequent trips home to San Diego, influencing their decision to move here full time and shift gears.
Chris has always had a passion for helping others, and realized that real estate would offer him a chance to bring his wealth of knowledge to a new field. He is most excited to help clients find the perfect house for their current life chapter. He has firsthand experience with primary residences and rental properties, and through various investments in bars and restaurants in NYC, is also familiar with commercial interests.
