Born in Hanover, NH, to parents in the medical profession, Chris spent much of his youth in the mountains of New England. His father's love for skiing led the family to frequent the slopes together, igniting Chris' enduring passion for skiing and the Vermont mountains from an early age.
After Hanover, the family moved to West Springfield, MA, where Chris grew up in a sports-loving household, engaging in soccer, golf, and skiing. Following his graduation from Dartmouth, Chris spent 15 years in Simsbury, CT, while still maintaining a winter ski routine in Vermont. In 2002, he made the full-time transition from corporate America to Vermont.
Chris is a Level III Certified Ski Instructor for the Professional Ski Instructors of America and serves as a Supervisor of the SYNERGY program at Stratton.
Residing at Cobb Brook Farm in Windham, VT, Chris divides his time between working as a financial adviser and a real estate professional. As the Principal of Cummings Financial Services, LLC, he and his team assist individuals, families, retirees, and business owners in securing their retirement. His expertise in finances and real estate provides a valuable edge for investors in commercial properties.
Chris’ hobbies include constructing stone walls, contributing to farm renovations and maintenance, playing golf, and spending quality time with his family. His daughters reside in MA and FL.
