Growing up in the Applegate Valley, I have always had not only a soft spot in my heart for the area but have also kept a keen eye on Southern Oregon, even from afar. In fact, after spending over twenty-five years on South Carolina’s Hilton Head Island, I decided to come back “home”, to the area I love. The West Coast is the best coast!
As an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, Southern Oregon offers everything I'm looking for and more in that department. As a saltwater fishing captain on the East Coast for 15 years, I love the fact the ocean is only a ninety-minute drive, but I also love fishing the many Southern Oregon lakes & rivers and the unique angling opportunities each of them provides.
