Chris is an absolute joy to work with. The D.C. metro area housing market has been challenging and unpredictable and we wouldn’t have gotten through the process without him. Chris was an amazing agent to have on my team during the homebuying process. He took me on multiple several-hour home tours in the city to help me get a great sense of what I was looking for. Once I was ready and comfortable, Chris helped me put out an offer and get it accepted within hours. Throughout the closing process, Chris was available to answer my many questions and arrange mutiple meetings at the condo for contractors. Finding a home for your family is a journey and having an Excellent agent is critical. In that, Chris was more than we could hope for.

Chris took the time in the beginning to understand what we were looking for and throughout the search, he made sure we didn’t not lose focus.
We were amazed at how dedicated Chris was to our success; the speed and clarity with which he responded to texts or emails; how pleasant every viewing with him was.

There was a house that we saw, liked and wanted to submit an offer, but the agent wasn’t responsive even though offers were being reviewed the next day. Chris cut short his vacation, drove all the way to the open house, talked to agent, arranged for us to have a pre-inspection done early the next day and submitted our offer on time. We didn’t we win the bid, but we were speechless at the level of engagement.

In this highly competitive market, Chris used his extensive network to give us an edge and make sure we could view houses ahead of them going on the market.
Chris finally found us a house that we love and that meet our criteria.

Chris Itteilag is a consummate professional. He did an outstanding job representing me and my wife as homebuyers in the late spring/early summer. Chris has a wealth of knowledge about the housing market in our area. He worked tirelessly to find us the best home in our price range. Chris was incredibly responsive and stayed in close contact with us from the moment we retained him through final closure on our new home. Chris put his whole heart into finding us a home. He was committed and extremely responsive. He offered insights and gently helped us become better informed home shoppers with insights into the state of home structures we visited and developments in neighborhoods. When we got to the point of preparing an offer, he seemed to work at warp speed coordinating inspectors and an offer package within hours so we could put an offer on a hot home. Chris helped me buy my first property (in the crazy DC market, no less!) Even though I was in an entry level price range, he made so much time for me, answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, and was a trusted voice of reason and strategy over the course of making offers on multuple properties. I couldn't have asked for more. Five years later when a job opportunity came up outside DC, he was the first call I made. I knew he'd clearly explain my options and the pros/cons of selling vs renting my unit. When I decided to rent it, he made it easy to transition to being a property manager, including finding my tenants. I couldn't have done it without him!

I've now purchased two condominiums with Chris as my agent since 2010 and been extremely satisfied with both deals. On both occassions, the condos were hot properties that required quick action, open lines of communication with all parties involved, and quick turnaround time. Chris was on top of every detail and was excellent at explaining key developments as the deals began to take shape. What would've otherwise been very stressful experiences were instead exciting, and I felt like I always had a good grasp of where things were going. He never applies pressure to buy or sell. He will instead tell you the facts about the properties and the trends in the greater market, and then give a well reasoned recommendation on what is holistically the best course of action for you (financially, personally, etc.) based on all of the above. But even if you dont agree with a recommendation, he will absolutely give 100% effort to close a deal exactly the way you want it to be, and on your timeline. I'm looking forward to buying my third home with him in the not too distant future.
