Chris Kelley has always had an interest in homes and architecture. He was drawing floorplans and designing the landscaping from an early age, so it is not surprising he joined the family real estate business. In fact, he helped Phil during the summers along with working for a settlement attorney while he attended Towson University. After graduation in 1991, he obtained his Maryland real estate license, and the rest is history. He recently obtained his D.C. real estate license. Chris’s expertise of homes and the various neighborhoods in both Montgomery and Frederick Counties is unmatched. A winning combination of astute listening skills and vast knowledge of the real estate market has enabled him to match his clients with the perfect home each time. Whether he is representing a first-time homebuyer, builder, corporate executive, move-up buyer, or investor in the purchase of a condominium or multi-million-dollar home, his buyers all benefit from his exceptional negotiating skills.
Getting to know his clients, educating them on the homebuying process, and providing guidance based on data and experience is extremely important to him. This enables him to establish lifelong relationships that go beyond settlement. Chris is thorough, knowledgeable, prepared, and a great communicator. Chris is committed to making sure every transaction is seamless, enjoyable and exceeds their expectations. He continually networks with fellow realtors and often has the inside scoop on homes that are not yet listed on the market - which is truly an added advantage to his clients. He loves houses and transitioning people into a new home, and it shows.
Chris and his family reside in Bethesda. His wife, Megan, teaches middle school in MCPS. They have two sons, Collin and Sean, whose activities keep them quite busy. Not to be forgotten are their two adorable golden retrievers, Lucy and Sadie.
