Christopher Mercer

Chris is originally from Long Island, New York. He moved to Florida as most of us do to escape the cold weather. He attended University of Florida and graduated with B.S degrees in History/Political Science.

After a couple of years working in the marketplace, Chris partnered with of one of the other founders, David Lowrey, and started several different businesses in the real estate and construction fields. One of the companies, went on to win Inc Magazine’s Inc 500 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America in both 2004 & 2005.

However, Stress Free Custom Homes remains his primary focus. Chris became a licensed general contractor, plumber, and mechanical contractor over the years to integrate these various trades under one roof and provide significant savings and construction experience to our clients. He handles numerous construction projects for the company as a superintendent.
