Charles B. “Chuck” Cornwell Jr. has been helping families and investors achieve their real estate goals for nearly four decades. He began his real estate career in 1985, joined shortly thereafter by his wife Helen in 1987. In 1992, they founded RE/MAX Regency, a move that fueled exponential growth and set the stage for a lifetime of service and leadership in Virginia real estate.
Today, Chuck is the proud broker/co-owner of CHC Realty. He has been honored with one of the profession’s highest distinctions—induction into the Virginia REALTORS® Hall of Fame—in recognition of his decades of extraordinary contributions to clients, colleagues, and the industry. Over the course of his career, billions of dollars in real estate sales have crossed his desk, and countless buyers and sellers have relied on his expertise to navigate the complexities of the market.
In addition to his extensive real estate background, Chuck is a Class A licensed contractor in Virginia, providing clients with a unique depth of knowledge that spans both property transactions and construction expertise. He is also a licensed title insurance agent, offering unparalleled insight into every stage of a transaction. Chuck actively serves clients in Fauquier County and the surrounding Northern Virginia region, as well as in Accomack County on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Chuck’s leadership extends well beyond his own business. He has served in numerous volunteer roles within REALTOR® associations, including multiple terms on the Board of Directors and as Association President. He has been repeatedly recognized as Broker of the Year, Rookie Broker/Owner of the Year, and for leading one of RE/MAX’s “Great Offices.”
Equally committed to the community, Chuck and Helen have raised their family in Fauquier County and supported organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. They believe in giving back through both service and charitable contributions.
