Cindy was our broker for the sale of our Chapel Hill home. We learned of her through friends who worked with her to sell their house a year ago. Originally we thought the sale would be straightforward. In spite of selling during one of the covid spikes, Cindy came over and very professionally worked with us to prepare the house for sale, helped us set a reasonable price, arranged the photos and video, used one of the tracking apps for potential buyers to schedule visits etc. and we had a lot over views fairly quickly and then about 2 months in, an offer.

Cindy was a terrific helper and intermediary with buyers, knew the market well and made excellent recommendations. The marketing of the house was well done.

She is very straightforward and frank. Then the fun started. The buyer inspection was a disaster. Their inspector found some thirty major issues. We were stunned since we maintained the home very carefully and fixed or upgraded what was needed. The estimate for fixing this was tens of thousands of dollars. We proposed a significantly lower price (which Cindy was a bit dubious about) as we had a fixed moving date that was right around the corner. Fortunately it was rejected.

We then, at Cindy’s suggestion, hired another inspector who found a few minor issues and none of the major ones. We had a contractor fix the minor issues. He too found no major issues. The house then quickly found another buyer. Their inspection also revealed no issues of note. We were now living several hundred miles away and Cindy took care of everything: going to the house when needed, arranging staging etc. This was wonderful as we would not have been easily able to come back. A few other minor headaches popped up and Cindy resolved those. She kept in touch with us, explained things, gave great advice and made the whole process work well.

She is charming, patient, gracious, knows the market and the area. She is experienced and savvy. She gets our highest recommendation.

Obviously buying or selling a house for a large amount of money is a major occasion in life. Cindy made an inherently stressful life event (particularly in the time of covid) go very very smoothly.
