I am so glad I chose this amazing group to help me find my “new to me” home!! Before moving in the whole place got a makeover with all new appliances, flooring, paint, windows, etc.! The location is exactly what I was looking for and they were able to show me the property with very little notice! The move in went so smooth and they had all the paperwork ready AND had answers to all my questions! The ladies at the office are so patient and will literally help you figure out anything!! I HIGHLY recommend using them if you’re looking to relocate to the area!!!

I have had the best experience with C. Hamilton and Associates. They stayed in constant contact with me and we're very patient with my every question. I am very happy with the residence I have. I haven't had any problems and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to live.

I have been in the market to rent a home in Athens and have been in touch with several management companies. Hamilton and Associates is by far the kindest and most helpful team out there! They listened to all my concerns and what I was looking for in a home and applied it to their search. I have now moved into a beautiful home in Athens exceeding my expectations and loving every minute of it!

So there's lots of bad reviews here, but keep in mind that angry people talk loud and talk often. I am adult working person who has been renting from C Hamilton & Assoc. for two years now, and I'm about to renew for three. When I first moved in and did my move-in inspection, they sent maintenance to fix every single thing on the list. They even unstuck the windows! They are very responsive to any maintenance requests and always let me know when to expect maintenance workers at my home. They do not give workers the key so I have to be home to let them in, and I actually appreciate that GREATLY. I have PTSD and really do need the level of communication they provide. I don't like surprises! They send maintenance workers quickly and even replaced the entire roof to my duplex. They also replaced the central A/C unit in a very timely fashion when I first moved in. They maintain the yard, too! They are never flippant about my needs as a tenant and they understand that the property is an investment that must be maintained.

I am not a student, and I have been renting for decades of my life. I haven't had a better rental experience in Athens than the one I'm having with CH&A. No one else has fixed things as quickly and as thoroughly as they do. I trust them to take care of the property I rent and to be communicative, hands-on property managers without being overbearing, nosy, or disrespectful.

We have been in the house we rent now for 5 yrs. love the neighborhood etc. I also take care of my mom who is ill and lives up north right now financially until her payments get approved. They have always been excellent with us and work with us. Anyone on here who criticizes them should also look at the landlords because they seem to be the ones who don't respond so you can't blame this company. I think they are fantastic.

They do a great job of being responsive to our tenants and any issues that have come up with our properties. They are up front with the fees and expenses. Claire and Terry are readily available and open to answering any questions that we have. We are happy to refer them.

My husband and I rented from C. Hamilton & Associates from December 2013 to November 2014 with NO complaints! Ms. Terry has always gone above and beyond whenever we had maintenance issues. The apartment we stayed in is a wonderful size for $475 monthly rent!! Outstanding price for Oconee County. Friends and family couldn't believe we lucked out so well. And my husband and I are planning to move back into the same apartment in a few weeks! This agency has been nothing short of pleasant and accommodating to my family! We are ecstatic to be renting from them again! :)

I think it is WELL past time that C Hamilton and Associates received a glowing review! They have certainly earned it, as far as my family is concerned!

We have been renting through C Hamilton & Associates for almost 2 years and we have NO COMPLAINTS. They have been nothing but WONDERFUL from the start; friendly, professional, patient, understanding.. They've always been extremely quick to respond to maintenance issues, complaints, inquiries - and believe me we've had our share! The house we're renting is nearly a century old, it definitely has its problems, and there's been a good deal of work done since we moved in, so we've kept regular contact (most of my contact has been through Terry, and she has always been absolutely FABULOUS!! Honestly everyone we've ever spoken to there has been lovely)... Someday we'll move from our cute little old house, and when we do we hope we can find another place they manage! :-)

I noticed that many of the people who left negative reviews complained about things that happened upon moving out. For instance, leaving their apartment in good condition, but still having a bit of their security deposit kept. Yes, this may happen - and it should've come as no surprise if they had read their lease! Hamilton & Associates uses a comprehensive, complete, professional lease agreement. We read EVERYTHING in detail BEFORE we signed - as everyone should - and we found it to be fair and in the best interest of both parties.

I've had pretty good luck with landlords, and these guys are no exception! Its unfortunate that people are so much more likely to complain than commend (and remember, there are 2 sides to every story!). They've rented to HUNDREDS of people over the years, and only a small few have ever left reviews; if more of their MANY happy tenants would follow my lead and take the time to leave an honest GOOD review of their services, I'm confident they'd be up to 5 stars in no time!!
