Where do I even start? Claire and Mark are a one-of-a-kind team!!! My husband and I met Claire and Mark back in 2019 when we first started house hunting. Claire was very patient with us as we were unsure of what we were looking for and had to take a pause in the house hunting process. She has an eye for small details that us regular folks would completely look over. Claire has always had our best interest as her main priority. I 7 months pregnant when we started searching and boy did Claire help us do it with ease. 9 days after giving birth, we signed papers for our very first home! It was cute and cozy, perfect starter home for our growing family. Fast forward to 2022, we decided it was time to upgrade our home as we were expecting baby #2. This time around, we would need to purchase our next home before selling our first. Claire and Mark's mortgage loan officer Bob Hailey introduced us to a new program that would let us do exactly that -- purchase a home before selling our previous (our income did not suffice for 2 mortgages at the same time). Because of Bob and his program, we were able to skip the process of having to sell first, move into a rental home, and then start the process of house hunting and then having to move AGAIN. With a toddler and being pregnant, the last thing we wanted to do was move twice. After a few months of house hunting and seeing over 30 homes, we finally found our dream house! Claire and Mark were so so patient with us and have always been such amazing communicators. Claire was quick to respond to any questions or concerns at any time of day!!! Not only did Claire and Mark make our buying experiences smooth and easy BOTH times, they also made selling our first home stress-free! Like I mentioned before, they always had our best interest as their top priority. Claire was always very logical and up front about her opinion and that is something we always appreciated. Throughout the years and multiple transactions we have done with their team, we are grateful we had them by our side representing us. Claire and Mark are seriously the dream team and are such amazing people- truly. We are thankful to have gained more than just a great realtor team, we have gained lifelong friends! We may not be purchasing another home for a while but we sure hope we can share the love by recommending them to any of our friends and family because honestly, everyone purchasing or selling their first home or multiple homes, should have the experiences we had with team Widmark Wright Realty Group. Her experience with inspections helped us skip homes that needed extensive repairs (who cuts through a support beam?) and appreciate homes with less noticeable upgrades (new roof, new furnace and new plumbing for the win!).

Claire helped us sell our house 6 years ago when we moved away and we had such an incredible experience with her then, we knew she was she one we wanted to work with to help us buy a house when we just moved back here! Our experience could not have been better. Claire is so professional and also extremely personable and made the process so much more smooth and relaxing than it could have been. Claire and team make the process very easy. From the start there was great communication and great advice. I was selling my condo and they produced a beautiful marketing brochure which includes measurements and they sent out weekly updates to me as to who the marketing is reaching. Claire and team go out of their way, for example they helped stage my condo, let me borrow a table, and stopped by my condo a couple of times to ensure the condo was ready for showing. Claire Widmark-Wright and team made it such a simple process to help me sell my aunt and uncles home! I really liked how Claire was my contact throughout the process even though there was a team in place to help with so much. After moving everything out of the house, there were several items in the garage that we didn’t know what to do with. Claire’s team helped get it all out and I didn’t have to worry about it - a heaven send! Claire recommended some modest and reasonable updates to the home before putting it on the market to keep the right buyers interested and to get the best price for this home, which I really appreciated. Through her team’s suggestions, we repaired a few things which made the inspection seamless. She also had contractors in place to help get the work done quickly on repairs and updates, which was ever so helpful (carpenter, plumber, handyman). Communication was thorough and constant throughout the entire process. I never wondered what was happening. I really felt her understanding of the current housing market was spot on. My husband and I purchased our home late last summer with the help of Claire and her team, and to say we were taken care of extremely well would be an understatement. Claire helped as we attempted to navigate the crazy housing market in Spring 2021. She met us as we walked through our first home and had so much great input on what to look out for.
We decided to put an offer in on the house, and it was accepted a couple of days later. Claire was informative on deadlines and helped us decide on an offer that was competitive, but reasonable for what we were getting.
Claire continued to check in regularly during our, unexpectedly long, closing process. She made sure to answer any and ALL questions we had and made sure we knew she was always available if we needed anything at all.

Claire and her team were recommended to us to sell a single-family home. We were pushing the end of the fall real estate season and were able to put the house on the market promptly. They were able to schedule photos, measurements, staging, and create brochures quickly. The house was priced correctly and we had 9 offers, going to sale pending in the first week. Claire and her team were phenomenal throughout the entire selling process. If you are conflicted about an agent to go with, take this as your answer and read no more reviews...Claire is THE one!

I first talked to Claire about selling my home months before I moved forward with the decision to actually sell. Claire sat down with me and helped me to weigh out all my options and what would be best for me and my three children. And at the end of my first talk with Claire, I decided that selling my home at that time was not the best option. What Realtor does that?! Claire cares about each person/people she is working with at such a deep level. She truly goes beyond the professional business aspect of the process and sees the heart and whole picture for her clients.
When I called her back a year and a half later, she came over and helped me to understand what the entire process is going to look like. Then she did a complete walk through of the inside and outside of my house. She didn't take any notes and made several comments throughout the process of to-do items that would be helpful for me to tackle in preparing my home. I thought I would be responsible to remember each item but she said she'd send an email within 24 hours detailing her suggestions. My FAVORITE memory of working with Claire will forever be getting this email only a few hours after the walk through. I opened up the email to THREE pages of suggestions with links for items to purchase, suggested people to contact and prioritized action items to know what to focus on first, second and third. I was AMAZED at the level of detail because she never took notes! This is the type of person that you want to be working for you! She never ever missed a thing during the whole process...and was on top of every. single. detail!
If I continued to write everything that stood out regarding Claire and her team, it would be a book.
I'll end with saying that she made a spreadsheet for me to review the multiple offers I received only 5 days after having my house on the market. All over asking.
Claire is the real deal, with an amazing team dedicated to making the ENTIRE home selling process a joy.

Claire is amazing! She has done two real estate transactions for me but the second property was the most challenging. My mother had passed away several years ago and last year my siblings and I made the difficult decision to move my father to a assisted living residence. Our home was about fifty years old and after 58 years of marriage they had accumulated tons of personal property. At the beginning of 2021, my wife and I knew we wanted to sell our current home, but we also knew we needed a lot of help to remodel it and upgrade it so that we would get a return on our investment, as well as leave the house in excellent condition for the future owners.

We reached out to Claire, who very graciously walked through the house with us and helped us develop a game plan for what to tackle, who to call, as well as a rough timeline. She stayed in constant contact with us throughout the entire process, offering insight and encouragement along the way.

When the time came in early summer to put the house on the market, Claire, Mark and team put together incredible brochures (complete with amazing pictures, some of which I included with the review) and they also helped us ready the house for viewings. They have high standards, but it's because they believe in the sellers (in this case, my wife and myself) and they believe in caring well for the future owners.

Mark and Claire kept us updated throughout the showings, letting us know what they heard from other agents, any questions/thoughts they had, etc. In the end, our house sold for over-asking, and the process couldn't have been smoother. Claire and Mark made sure we had all our bases covered so that when the time came to close, no unforeseen obstacles came up and hindered the process.

Claire is awesome!! I have known Claire for several years now and she has helped me sell and buy two houses. She truly is the very best realtor out there--super detailed oriented, super fast response times, very honest advice and guidance. When selling a house she has great staging tips and is a master at marketing your house. She got me WAY more than expected on the sale of my house two months ago. She also is the BEST at helping you buy a house. Claire did an outstanding job, going above and beyond to sell our older 1973 home. The home had asbestos issues that needed to be resolved and she found and coordinated the contractors . The home needed a lot of smart attention brought to it in the advertising to highlight it’s uncommonly valuable features. The world of home buying can be daunting as a first time home buyer, especially in the extremely tight Portland market. You need someone who is a kind educator, a caring ear, and a shrewd negotiator. There were many highs and lows submitting offers, and Claire was there the whole way to lend an ear when we needed to complain, instruct us on how to maximize our offers, and most importantly go to bat for us in negotiations. It takes a very special kind of person to do this job, and Claire is a very special person which is why it is a real boon to have Claire by your side. She is unbelievably kind, and caring. We recently used WWRG to sell our home. We have only sold one other home and it was FSBO so this was our first experience using a Realtor to sell. I can’t recommend Claire and WWRG enough. Claire worked with us from start to finish. She met with us before we decided to list our home and walked through our home. She gave recommendations on what should be done and what wasn’t necessary. She gave us guidance on what needed to be done before pictures vs. after. She recommended we start organizing and putting things in storage to “declutter” the home. This made a huge difference in our move after the sale (WIN-WIN!). Her gut feeling for asking price was spot-on with what the comparisons showed. Her communication was excellent at every step. She provided timelines for all the high-level steps and the details where needed. She helped us stage the home for photos with recommendations for where to place furniture and artwork. The online presentation of our home was overwhelming! I was amazed at how the photos and drone footage made our home look. The resulting full-color book that was presented to each perspective buyer was amazing and provided much more detail than just a simple one-page flyer. I firmly believe this level of detail and commitment made a huge difference. Ultimately, we had great interest and multiple offers. She coordinated inspections with us and the buyer's agents. We had clear communication at all times and a smooth closing! The biggest blessing was when we met with the buyers to turn over the keys. She turned this simple step into a celebration!

Claire sold my rental house in the middle of a quarantine.

Two months before the quarantine, when my renters moved out and I was faced with the decision of whether to sell as is or to fix and sell, my contractor referred me to Claire, who had sold his mother-in-law’s house. Claire viewed the property, and told me room by room what to change to make the property more desirable. She praised the positive and hammered home the negative. She told me what colors and features buyers would expect and be attracted to. She gave me an idea of how to accomplish that with a budget that would be in line with pricing of the house. She did this on her own time - I did not sign with her until five months later when the renovation was complete.

She had an amazing way of marketing the house. She produced booklets for buyers to take home that featured every positive aspect offered by the house. She put postcards in each room for buyers to read to highlight the positive. She wanted buyers to remember the house well, after they left the premises. During a quarantine, in 6 days, with few showings, we had two offers. Amazing.

During the escrow period, problems with the house were discovered that needed to be attended to within a very short period of time. Claire had contractors up her sleeve that descended and fixed it all immediately and at a reasonable rate.

When the county closed on Fridays making recording of the deed on the designated date impossible, Claire helped to accelerate the paperwork to close the deal so that the buyers would not be homeless until the deed could be recorded. Crazy. The woman can do it all.

She is driven and works hard to get things done, and all with a smile on her face. She is amazing.
