About Clarissa
Clarissa Rainey, a friendly, energetic, hardworking, and honest individual, has a strong faith in God and is committed to working diligently for her clients to ensure their complete satisfaction with the home/property buying or selling experience. Currently residing in Ocala, Florida, Clarissa owns a small farm with five horses, two dogs, and a cat. She was born in Gainesville, Florida in June 1962, and is the youngest of eight siblings, with six brothers and one sister. Her parents are still married and in their late 80s. Clarissa is passionate about her family, real estate, horses, golf, and Gator Football.
Clarissa grew up in Gainesville and moved to Oxford, Florida, in 1998. For 20 years, she worked as a teaching golf professional and lettered four years at Gainesville High School as team captain in golf, where she won several Jr. golf tournaments. In addition, she played 1st chair clarinet for four years with her high school's symphonic and marching bands. She is also an avid equestrian, having competed in stock shows and rodeos across the country for over 15 years, winning the World Championship in 2005 in Amarillo, Texas, where over 2500 teams competed in the sport of team penning and team sorting, which involves herds of cattle.
Clarissa earned her degree from the University of Florida with a major in Health and Human Resources and a minor in Forestry, where she received a walk-on golf scholarship in 1985, and her team won the NCAA Championships in 85’ and 86’. After graduation, she turned pro and played the Futures Golf Tour for two years. However, real estate is now her passion, and she takes pleasure in helping others. She loves that she gets to see and experience all aspects of real estate from start to finish. As an achiever, Clarissa is willing to go above and beyond to ensure that her customers have the best real estate experience possible. Honesty and excellent customer service are what she prides herself on, and she wants to be your realtor. Her motto is "No job is too big, too hard, too far, or too small... I love them all!"
