Clifton LaPorte started his real estate career in 2008. The bulk of his experience has been working with buyers and sellers of residential properties, but he has also worked with commercial clients. He has been working with relocation clients for over 10 years and is certified as a Relocation Specialist with gCertified certification for government relocation.
He is a graduate of UMASS Lowell with a BA in English, Northeastern University with a MEd in counseling and Fitchburg State University with a MEd in educational leadership. In addition, he has additional graduate work in Gifted Education from the University of Connecticut and creative and critical thinking from UMass Boston.
An elementary school teacher for 8 years and then a middle school teacher for 10 years, he embarked on a career as an elementary school principal for 20 years. During those 38 years he worked for several excellent local school systems; concluding his years as a public school educator as a principal in the Sudbury Public Schools.
A father of two married children and the grandfather of three granddaughters and one grandson. He's lived in Berlin MA with his partner since 2004. A love of literature, theatre, music and travel are among his avocations and he is always planning for the next book, play, or travel destination. A believer in giving back to his community when possible, he has been a member of the Berlin Boylston Regional School Committee since 2015; most recently serving as Committee Chair.
