About Cody

We launched Capitol Ranch Real Estate in January 2011. Since then it has been a growing success that we are very thankful for. We attribute all accomplishments to our ideals of kindness, honesty, professionalism, selfless service, and exceeding our clients' expectations.

I was born in Odessa, and grew up in Clifton in Bosque County. After earning an Animal Science degree from Texas A&M class of '99, I started helping others buy and sell land. I have been Texas Real Estate licensed since 1999, and a broker since 2003. Back then I was the youngest land broker in Central Texas. Bluegreen Southwest, Southwest Properties, and Maxwell Land Brokerage are a few of the real estate companies I have worked for.

I led in sales with over $10M in gross land sales and acreage in 2010 before starting up Capitol Ranch.

Other entrepreneurial ventures include owning Maxwell Trucking, a building stone distributorship, Lenny's Sub Shop in Bryan, trading commodities, developing rural land communities, and catastrophe insurance adjusting all over the U.S. for 12 years.

I enjoy the most… traveling and playing with my wife and kids, showing property, bass fishing, cooking outside, and managing acreage and livestock.
