Cody Menz

Hello! Let me introduce myself.

My name is Cody Menz and I have been a Realtor Sales Associate at Coastline Realty since early in 2020. Here’s a bit about who I am, my values, and what I bring to the table to best represent my clients. I've achieved the NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence Sales Award® two times, once in 2021 and again in 2024.

Outside of navigating sales and rentals for my clients I also wear “a lot of hats” here at our office. I not only manage our digital media marketing but also create most of it in-house to showcase our client’s properties, vacation rentals, and our agents. In addition to this I manage all social media relations, website content, and the day-to-day operations of Coastline Realty as an administrative assistant.

I was born in Cape May County and have been a lifelong resident of Cape May. I graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 2008 and afterwards attended the Academy of Culinary Arts where I obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts on an accelerated path shortly after in 2009. Since an early age I was immersed in my family’s business at the Inn of Cape May & Aleathea’s Restaurant. After college I became the Sous Chef at our family's restaurant at Aleathea's in Cape May (now Ocean 7).

During this time my passion of digital media content creation, helping others, and technology led me to a part-time hobby of managing a Youtube channel, Twitch channel, and website. Over the years I became a Youtube Partner, Twitch Partner, and have had the pleasure of hosting millions of visitors on my websites that focus on guides & tips for video games that I enjoy in my spare time.

I continued working as a Sous Chef and day-to-day running of a successful restaurant until 2020 when I entered the real estate industry. After meeting my lovely wife, Ryan Menz who is a mathematics teacher at Egg Harbor Township High School, and getting married in early 2019. It was time to plan for the future and leave the 4am early morning shifts and restaurant industry behind with the goal of starting a family ahead of us. Ryan and I welcomed our son Henry in late 2020 into our budding family and our youngest son, Ezra in late 2023. In my free time (what is ‘free time’ after having our second?) I enjoy gardening, the outdoors, and all that there is about being a father.

Above all I love to help people learn, spread a calm & positive attitude, and I am always looking to learn new skills. My background of hard work & management from my culinary career of 10+ years. The self-taught skills of digital media creation, live streaming, video creation, entertainment, and website building. Also, my solid foundation of upbringing, family focused ethics, and being brought up in the real estate industry.

All of these pieces when put together have given me the experience & tools required to provide the best representation of my clients and also for our office. You can expect while working with me that no stone will be left unturned and you are kept up current with my very detail oriented approach to real estate.
