When Colleen's husband and she were looking for their first home, she was overwhelmed and exhausted with the process. She was working a high-stress job and had two small toddlers. They needed help and solely relied on their Realtor. She will never forget when her husband called her to tell her that they got the house. She had no idea which house he was referring to, as they had seen so many!
It was at that time Colleen felt compelled to get into real estate. She believes if she was feeling this way, many other buyers and sellers had to feel like her. She wanted someone to walk her through the process, point out the pros and cons of the home and also be very honest. From 1990 to 2004 she was an Institutional Bond Salesperson for PaineWebber, UBS, and BNP.
Colleen switched careers in 2004 and has never looked back; she is a lifelong resident of the area and is raising her three children here. She understands the importance of schools, parks, community, and lifestyles. This special metropolitan area of Chicago offers a wonderful sense of community culture, diversity, and real estate like no other! She has made sales of over 200 Million since 2005.
Colleen feels lucky today as she enjoys what she does for a living. She loves getting up every day and seeing everything new with the real estate market. She has served in Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, Elmwood Park, Elmhurst, Berwyn, Arlington Heights, St. Charles, Naperville, Edison Park, and South Loop. She is also a member of the Oak Park Area Association of Realtors.
