Colt grew up just north of Fort Worth and began his customer service and sales habits at the age of sixteen while working as a sales representative for a local automotive repair shop. Since then, he’s tried to draw from a range of unique life experiences, skills, and relationships to help others. Before the age of 21, he had built custom motorcycles, worked in automotive repair, sales, farming and ranching, and had even been a full-time musician playing all over the southwest United States. Eventually, he decided to go back to school and after a couple of years in college, he felt like he needed to be part of something bigger than himself. He had to prove to himself that he could be successful at anything he set out to do. When the next semester ended, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
During his service in the Marine Corps, he deployed to Al Anbar Province, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007 and 2008. He deployed again to Helmand Province, Afghanistan as an Operations Chief in support of Operation Khanjar in 2009. After returning as a decorated combat veteran with four years of honorable service and multiple meritorious promotions, he met and married his beautiful wife, Chambley. They’ve since welcomed two sons and a precious daughter into the world and now reside just south of the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex, in Midlothian, Texas.
With the overwhelming love and support from his wife and family, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University and also became a police officer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Over the next 8 years, he would specialize in helping people who suffer from mental illness, trauma-affected veterans, and also on training police officers in Crisis Intervention techniques and Mental Health Response.
While he’s no longer serving in uniform, he still makes time to volunteer to teach and share his experiences with rookie and veteran police officers around DFW and try to help improve police interactions and contacts with people who suffer from mental illness. When he’s not representing clients and their families, he enjoys spending time with his young family and being outdoors as much as possible.
His current mission is to provide his clients with superior, stress-free customer service unmatched by anyone in the industry. His unique experiences, skills, and relationships have prepared him to meet and exceed your real estate needs in every way possible. He wants to provide you with confident and creative service in every detail of your real estate transaction and he’s convinced that he can accomplish these goals through integrity, diligence, and hard work. His life experiences have proven this to him time and again. He hopes you’ll allow him to prove it to you.
