I became a Texas Realtor at age 18. In 1980 I came to College Station to be a Texas Aggie. In 1985, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. In 1987, I graduated with a Master of Science in Land Development. After graduation, my husband and I moved to Oahu, Hawaii. I became a Hawaiian Realtor in the first few months of moving there, but took the position I was offered at FHDA (Federal Housing and Development Administration) for the State of Hawaii. It was an amazing opportunity. Each Island had a team. I was assigned to the 3-person team for Oahu, to develop the New City (City of Kapolei). It was a privilege working for the State of Hawaii and being on the ground floor of building what is now a large city. I met with contractors, pastors, Hawaiian holy men, politicians, spoke to the Governor. I named many of the streets and picked phase one floor plans for the first 580 homes. A little about the rest of who I am. I worked part time while my babies were young. I even taught elementary school, bible study, youth at church, cooking classes. I was a girl scout leader (6 years, another 5 years as co-leader). Being a certified Red Cross Swim Instructor, I taught over a thousand children and adults how to swim. I became a Group X exercise Instructor 6 years ago and I am still leading 2 classes at one of our local gyms. I love traveling, scuba, cooking, eating, swimming, social events, and the beach. For me people are the spice in life. As a realtor, you can never consider yourself off work because we work when others need us. I have been over at client’s homes at 10 -11 pm more than a few times to get it done. I have sat in my cruise room or in the lobby for hours helping my clients. It is part of the deal. I strive hard to help each client get the highest return on their home/property and find them the home/property of their dreams. If you are ready to buy and/or sell, give me a call.
