Connie went to Hondros College and obtained her Real Estate License 33 years ago. She married Charles Shaeffer in 1967, who was a Realtor/Auctioneer. Connie has three children: Cindy (Pat) Miller, Bud (Judy) Shaeffer, and Tammy (Jason) Sprouse.

She is also blessed with five grandchildren: Troy (Jordin) Harmer, twins Aaron Miller and Abby (Eric) Polen, and Johnny and Stacy Sprouse.
