Connie Williams was born and raised in Bethany, Oklahoma. She grew up in the Putnam City School District and graduated from Putnam City West HS in 1979. She went on to earn her Communication Arts BA Degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, but attended SNU, Oklahoma City University and University of Oklahoma throughout her education years. Connie has been married to her high school sweetheart, James Williams, for 36 years. They have one daughter, Ashley. She taught drama and speech in public schools for 11 years, served in church ministry for over 17 years and still holds her ministerial license. She has officiated several weddings for ex-students and has enjoyed working in church ministry at her present church, Crossings Community Church, as Facilitator for the Infant Loss/Miscarriage Care Series Group and The Sandwich Generation: Moving Mom & Dad Group. Connie has worked with her husband, as Secretary-Treasurer, in his self-made business for over 32 years. She is a people person, loves to learn, and then in turn, share with others to hopefully provide a better life for them.
For over 7 years, Connie was in Care Giver mode. Her mother was in the final stages of cancer and while visiting from North Carolina, her mother-in-law suffered a stroke and stayed in Oklahoma City until her passing. Through that journey, she gained a passion for the Downsizing “Rightsizing” Generation and their adult children. She acquired her Real Estate license in April 2015 and went on to obtain Certification as a Certified Senior Housing Professional as well. She is passionate about providing Seniors and their Adult children a smoother and less stressful journey as they approach the downsizing moving process. Her goal is that through “Moving Mom and Dad: 5 Common Mistakes Adult Children of Aging Parents Make” and “Downsizing Made Easy” Seminars, you will feel Educated, Equipped, and Empowered to make informed proactive decisions which will benefit all your family.
