Born in Manila, Philippines, Corie immigrated to the United States in 1987, settling in San Diego, California. Throughout her career, Corie has demonstrated a passion for service, volunteering her time with organizations such as Gawad Kalinga, where she participated in building homes for the underprivileged in the Philippines.
