Becoming an agent seemed to be a natural transition for Corisa Welch.
Corisa has owned Mansfield Online Auctions since December 2019.
"With the auction business, I already talk to people who are downsizing and moving onto the next chapter of their life, so it seemed to make a lot of sense to become a real estate agent as, most of the time, the houses that I'm going into are being emptied out to sell," she said.
Corisa said she's well rounded and can easily relate to people, along with having a positive, friendly personality -- all traits that undoubtedly will make her a great agent.
Corisa also has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Leadership, and has been an adjunct professor at the North Central State College, since September 2018, teaching Criminal Justice.
"I feel that something that sets me apart is that, because I was raised by my grandparents, I really value what people feel is important to them," she said. "When it comes to my auctions, I call them treasures. They're items that people have collected for a lifetime. It's really important to me to make people feel comfortable and that the process is as easy and stress-free as possible as they transition into the next phase of their life."
When she's not working, Corisa enjoys being outdoors - camping, hiking, traveling and enjoying new adventures with her three kids and boyfriend.
Corisa said she chose Sluss Realty because she felt it was the best fit for her.
