Craig Brown

One of Detroit’s most beloved bartenders and musicians has made the leap from bartending to realtor! Craig Brown is a man who has a deep love for the Motor City and all of the people in it. Currently, he is specializing in sales and rentals in the neighborhoods where he has lived and worked for the last 16 years.

In 2020, Craig’s amateur curiosity germinated into professional interest, when one of his regulars suggested that he look into becoming a realtor. “It was the perfect time for a change,” he said as the bands which he plays in and the bars where he worked went on indefinite hiatus, thus allowing him the time to explore other options. “It is a venture I have become obsessed with. I love working with buyers and renters, families and developers, native Michiganders and transplants from around the world.”

One major similarity between Craig’s prior profession and his new one is the human interaction element. He realizes these are “people person” businesses and you have to be able to connect to the individuals right away. You also have to be on the same team and work together as a team to accomplish something amazing.

In his free time, Craig loves camping and exploring. Since 2008, he has musically mentored disadvantaged youths throughout Metro-Detroit. He loves organizing, performing, and promoting live must as well as touring with bands through the US, Canada, Europe and Mexico. Grateful for an amazing group of diverse neighborhood friends, Craig Brown ensures that every new and old resident will always feel welcome and right at home
