Craig Edwards

When Craig was 16, he designed houses and floor plans as a hobby. He even built models of the houses he designed, and ultimately, his parents used one of his plans for a remodel of their home. His first job after high school was on a framing team for a homebuilder. As you might guess, he considered pursuing a degree in architecture. However, his passion for science pulled him in a different direction. When he attended college in Nashville, he set his sights on meteorology.

Craig's career as a TV Meteorologist was exceptionally fulfilling. He covered tornadoes, hurricanes, snowstorms, and droughts and told news viewers what was coming their way. He traveled all over Middle TN and the southeastern U.S. meeting thousands of people in all walks of life and enjoyed every minute of it! He began his broadcasting career at News Channel 5 in Nashville, as an intern, and when he decided to “call it a wrap”, he was the morning meteorologist at Nashville’s Fox 17. He spent 40+ years in broadcasting and during that time he took the opportunity to buy, sell and build several houses of his own. When he finally decided to make a career change, real estate brought him back to his roots.
Homeownership is one of the easiest ways to grow personal wealth. Craig bought his first house in his mid-20s. He enjoys Do-It-Yourself projects; house maintenance and improvements and he loves sharing tips on how to get the most out of a large investment.
