Looking to move but you're not sure where to start? Start by hiring Craig as your realtor! Then, do everything that he recommends - even the things that make you nervous (like making an offer without a contingency on selling your current home and using his mortgage guy). He will not lead you astray. He'll provide you with a checklist for preparing your house for sale. Use it. And, do everything on it. Seem like he plans to list your house a little on the low side? Go with it - it'll work to your advantage. We ended up with 13 offers in 48 hours. From the day we hired Craig to the day we closed on both the sale of our home and the purchase of our forever home.... only 6 weeks! We could not have asked for a smoother process.

As a former contractor and firefighter, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience about what to look for and what to avoid when you're looking at prospective homes. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Craig is simply the best there is. And he isn’t just a wonderful realtor - he’s a wonderful person. I had a pretty bad experience with the realtor I used for the first home I bought. So, when I was looking for my forever home, I was nervous about who would help me through the journey. But the minute I met Craig, I knew I was in good hands. He’s extremely smart, honest and personable. He knows what to look for in houses. Even the things you wouldn’t think about.

I’m the kind of person who asks a million questions and he never hesitated to answer one of the many. He guided me through the process of selling and buying with the utmost patience and knowledge. I truly don’t believe I would’ve landed my dream home without him. He’s gone above and beyond. I’m forever grateful that I found him and that he chose to work with me. I promise you won’t regret picking him as your realtor. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I also want to add that his partner, Cassie was phenomenal, as well. They should probably change their name to the ’Dream Team’. She was super attentive, kind and knowledgeable. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Craig and Cassie. They were always quick to answer any questions I had, and as a first time home buyer, I had plenty! Craig never pushed me and my husband into a decision to buy a house quickly and took the time to go through each house we viewed from the outside in to look at any structural concerns. Instead of falling in love with a house only to have our hearts broken by extreme water damage or the whole house needing to be repiped, we saved ourselves a lot of heartache by looking at the basements of houses first to see if there were any trouble spots. If the basement passed the basic tests, we would move on to the rest of the house to see if we liked it. Craig took us through the houses we wanted to see step by step and pointed out anything that was in good condition or that would need to be fixed, as well as a rough timeline for when we'd need to repair it. Super helpful in making such an expensive decision like buying a house!

Cassie was there working behind the scenes in the office the whole time, setting up the viewings for the houses and answering any questions we had. I still don't know how she did it, but she managed to get a bunch of showings the same day, on a Saturday no less, with only 2 days' notice. Absolutely amazing.

When my husband and I decided on a house, Craig and Cassie set us up with one of their trusted underwriters who patiently took us through everything step by step.

Cassie gave us a list of recommendations for house inspectors to choose from but never pressured us to choose from her list.

After we closed on the house, Cassie and Craig checked in on us periodically to make sure we were settling into our new home. They made sure we didn't have any concerns about how our mortgage got sold to another mortgage company (which is a typical practice, apparently). Cassie even helped me find out where to set up my account for my mortgage after the fact when I was growing concerned that the mortgage company hadn't sent me the info to set up my account yet.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Cassie and Craig and we can't reccomend them enough!

5 stars is simply not enough when referring to Cassie, Craig, and Joe. It’s a rough market, but having a VA loan makes it even worse. No one wants a VA loan, and our offers were turned away because it it. However, Cassie, Craig, and Joe made this process so incredibly easy for us. Between their knowledge and ability to be there whenever we called, they fought for us and we are now living in our perfect home. Who you chose as your realtor AND lender matter! Joe went above and beyond to make sure that the sellers knew not to be afraid of the VA. I'm an engineer so I'm always worried about the fundemntals of a prospective house over it's astethetics. Craig was awesome! I couldn't have gotten more lucky in finding him as my realtor. Always straight forward and honest, and will point out any and all flaws in homes you're seeing. He will not try and "sell" you on homes just to get more business, but in fact does quite the opposite. He also will caution you on things like mortgage payments increasing once taxes are reevaluated the following year to make sure there are no surprises. If you're looking for a Realtor, Craig Hickey is the man to hire!
I luckily found him on Zillow and what a blessing that was for me and my Husband. It's our first time looking for a home while expecting our first bundle of joy so we were in a hurry to find the perfect place for our growing family. The very first time getting in contact with Craig it was through text which was okay with me because Zillow connected us, I was interested in a home that was in contingent but completely in love with the house. Craig was able to get us in to see that house immediately with the option to get in a offer if we wanted, which was amazing to me that he didn't steer us away from a house that was in contingent but if there was a way for us to still bid he made sure that happened. The first house was a bust because pictures are very deceiving and Craig was going to make sure we knew what was WRONG with the house in every way before we made up our mind which was a great for us, we weren't very knowledgeable about houses and what not to look for when shopping for one. Craig made sure he kept in contact with us daily with his emails, texts and calls, it didn't matter where the house was he was there to show us nor was the time of day a factor! Craig was the real estate agent who went deeper than cosmetic features of a house and helped with advice which is not common with many other agents. He was brutally honest when we wanted his opinion on the condition of a house. He would point out both, the good features and also the potential issues in a property with an extreme honesty and candidness. An exceptional realtor! Craig went above and beyond to show us many places.He is professional, responsive knowledgeable and helpful. Craig is an outstanding realtor and is super responsive when you have questions. I don't think I've ever waited longer than 5 minutes for him to get back to me on anything. I used him as both a buyer and seller and I can say he is very blunt and gives you realistic expectations backed up by hard data, which is exactly what I want. He is wonderful. My husband and I began looking for our future home 3 years ago. The realtor we had realized we didn't have 300,000 dollars to spend on a house and sent her 18 year old intern to show us houses. We looked at one house with him and he was quick, immature, and really had no experience what so ever. It wasn't until my husband saw a house on realtor.com and put his info in to be contacted for a showing that we got to meet Craig. He ended up being honest about that house and we ended up needing more assistance. He stepped up to the task. He showed us houses on the weekends even at night. My husband worked all the time. It was so wonderful to know Craig was on our side. After a couple months we found a cute brick house that was move in ready. It was right in our price range. It had the perfect amount of bedrooms and a fireplace. The backyard was fenced in and had a huge back yard to grow our family in the future. We bought it , signed the paperwork and moved in. Craig had a beautiful home welcoming sign made for us to keep forever and then for Christmas gave us a beautiful ornament with the year and our first home on it. We still put it up to this day. Everytime someone asks for a realtor I give them Craig's name. He will be there with you through the whole process.

Craig Hickey is the man!!! He tells you right when you walk up to a house what's wrong or if it's even worth going in. He always answered my calls or sent a quick message that he'll get right with you EVERY time. There was NEVER a time where he didn't have an answer for my questions. Craig made our home buying experience the best. Even with covid 19 going on we were in the the buying process because he made it happen.
