About Crystal
Once upon a time there lived a small, 1957 tri-level home in the heart of Bellevue, WA. The home was dated but well loved, always full of laughter and light. Situated down a long alley driveway and backing up to a community park (hence, park and alley), the location was perfect for many generations to run around and play. In fact, if walls could talk, they would share stories of family parties, birthday celebrations, prom photos, graduations, new babies, and even a wedding reception. This home was Crystal’s childhood home.
Crystal was the oldest of four kids and the third generation to live in their humble Bellevue home. Her father was a blue-collar worker and to this day is the most loyal and hardest working man she knows. Crystal’s mother was the ultimate homemaker (easily comparable to Martha Stewart) and opened an in-home daycare to help provide for the family. Her parents scrimped and saved to pay their bills but somehow always made it work. They may not have been able to afford the same luxuries as our schoolmates, but Crystal & her siblings learned important life lessons about work ethic, family values and humility.
The home remained in her family for over 49 years until it was finally time to say goodbye. Crystal’s parents moved to the "country" and became empty nesters while the kids started their own families and chased their dreams. Crystal is fortunate now to work in the real estate industry where she can visit hundreds of homes per year, but she has to admit that no matter what the price tag shows or how "luxury" a home may be, her heart still belongs to that ugly peach painted exterior and those mid-century wood-paneled walls of her upbringing.
Park + Alley was named in honor of Crystals childhood home. It represents the "coordinates" of where she grew up and is an endearing reminder of her roots. As the Designated Broker and founder of Park + Alley, it was important to Crystal to create a company with a culture and purpose guided by the same core values described above. Their clients are their family, and no matter where you are in your homeownership journey, their real estate professionals will serve you with integrity, grit and true passion for what they do.
Crystal and her team look forward to helping you dig your roots.
