An East-Coaster by birth, I knew at an early age that big-city life was not for me. Even so, after a brief stint in Tucson, Arizona, I found my way back east via an opportunity with Penn State University. For the next 25 years I owned a successful child daycare facility in the state college arena; during this time my husband and Iinvested in the purchase and restoration of vernacular Victorian-era properties, bringing them back to their historic dignity.
Once I retired from childcare, we had the opportunity to return to our beloved Arizona. Here we continued purchasing properties, often with re-modeling in the back of our minds. Having purchased, restored and sold Victorian properties, and then doing the same with many other varieties of homes for the past 18 years, I honed my expertise and knowledge of, and fell in love with, real estate.
Being a part of helping many children and young families achieve their goals in life through education was enjoyable and fulfilling, but my passion now is to help others realize their dreams of owning in the White Mountains, as my husband and I have, whether that be a vacation getaway or fulltime place to call home.
In my downtime, I enjoy the outdoors with my husband and our three dogs and taking motorhome trips across the USA, along with a variety of activities including cooking, crafts, knitting, clay studio, and watching good movies. I also still promote and support quality early childhood education, and for the past eight years have held the business chair on The First Things First Council.
