He remains a licensed attorney, having obtained his law degree from the University of San Francisco and his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley. Dan grew up in the real estate business, with a father who is a real estate developer and a mother who served as a broker and attorney. Prior to law school, he worked for a land development company and as a broker associate for a leading San Francisco firm before creating his own boutique real estate company, which he ran successfully before joining Compass.

When Dan is not working, he enjoys making wine with friends. He and his wife own a licensed and bonded wine facility in the East Bay and have their own wine label.
