About Dan
In what could be deemed a relatively short professional career, Daniel Gitlin has accomplished much in the last six years. Graduating in 2006 with a BS in political science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison where also studied engineering, Daniel started his career in distressed real estate working for local Florida wholesale real estate company. As the top grossing employee, he was promoted to the sole junior partner. He moved to Miami to open a branch office for the investment company. Within the first year buying and selling houses this office had a yearly gross profit of over $1.5M. Over the next three years largely due to Daniel’s diligent efforts, the company’s profits grew on average 35% per annum.
Under his leadership, the 2013 gross profit exceeded $3.5M. The average monthly number of properties purchased during 2013 was approximately 25, with a similar number sold each month. Over the years Daniel has forged an impressive and consistent real estate transaction record. From his extensive experience he has developed a penchant to accurately assess property values. During his years of selling and purchasing hundreds of properties, there has been only a single example in which a profit was not tendered from a sale. This is a profit/loss ratio of over 99.9%! Over the years, Daniel has experienced every possible scenario in conjunction with a wide range of opportunities. He has participated in negotiating with asset managers, attorneys, buyers, sellers and real estate agents. He has been a key-note speaker before audiences of real estate investors and has an excellent reputation among the South Florida real estate community.
Daniel’s personal investing record is extensive and diverse. In addition he has purchased and sold non performing notes at a profit, managed numerous rental properties and supervised construction/remodeling crews. Daniel has become well versed in real estate law having purchased properties with code violations and liens all which he deftly handled in a way which allowed the construction and property sales to move forward unhindered.
