About Dan

Dan was raised and educated in Yakima and after graduating from high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving the better part of his time in Japan. Upon fulfilling his four-year commitment, he moved back to Washington State. Over the past 17 years he has gained experience in retail/customer service and the food and beverage industry, eventually working as management in both industries. With a background in marketing, Dan capitalized on his experience and went back to school to earn his teaching certificate from Central Washington University in 2012 enabling him to teach business and marketing courses at Hanford High School.

Education is at the core of Dan’s entire family; his dad, his wife, and his in-laws are public school educators. He has a seven-year-old daughter with an unbridled spirit who is the light of their hearts.
