About Dana

With over 20 years of real estate experience and as a New Yorker since 1987, Dana Williams expertly guides clients. She is hardworking, resourceful, and listens closely to understand clients' needs. Dana has been recognized repeatedly for her performance by Sotheby’s International Realty leadership.

Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Dana was a director at a large, Manhattan real estate franchise for eight years. She developed and operated a department which served as a national model. She screened vendors and assisted her company’s clients with renovation, relocation, and staging.

Prior to developing this business, Dana was the owner of Partners in Time which provided freelance personal assistance. Her clientele included high-profile professionals in media, entertainment, fashion, politics, and the arts. Dana began her career at ABC News working on a weekly, business broadcast.

She has also lived briefly in France, St. Thomas, San Francisco, and Boston and grew up in Denver and St. Louis.

As co-chair for the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation’s Brokers Partnership, she organized several events to engage brokers with preservation and their support of mom-and-pop shops. This included an annual comedy night at The Comedy Cellar’s Village Underground.

Dana also produced several live crowdfunding events to raise money for grassroots, social justice projects such as HarlemGrown and STEM FROM DANCE. For six years, she was an active Habitat for Humanity NYC board member and was involved with several of their early achievements including Habitat’s 100,000th home build.

More recently, she organized a voter registration event and panel discussion in St. Louis, her hometown. Dana currently serves on the board of the Riverdale Main Street Alliance, a non-profit that promotes a positive neighborhood environment.
