About Daniel

Dan has been involved in the real estate industry his entire adult life primarily as an investor and a consultant. He eventually discovered that what truly inspired and motivated him, more than just buying and selling real estate for himself, was helping others through the buying and selling process. Dan understands all too well that buying or selling a home can be a deeply emotional, and sometimes stressful, experience. As such, Dan believes that the primary responsibility of any real estate professional is, not just to sell houses, but to personally care for the needs of each and every client. This mission of service is what ultimately motivated Dan to transition to a full-time career as a real estate professional and create his own real estate sales and service team. Since that time, the Dan Kenney Group has proudly assisted countless homeowners in the buying and selling process and nothing brings Dan and his team great joy and satisfaction than serving the needs of their many satisfied clients.

After working for several years in the city of Chicago, Dan along with his wife and two children eventually relocated to the Village of Homer Glen. Dan and his family were drawn to this area for its unique rural character, strong sense of community, highly rates schools, low crime rate and unlimited future growth potential. Dan is very involved in the community and is a proud sponsor of the Homer Athletic Club, the annual Homer Community Festival and the Homer Glen Movie Under the Stars series. Dan is also a member of the Homer/Lemont Chamber of Commerce (HCBA), the Homer Glen Community and Economic Development Committee and the Homer Glen Parks and Recreation Committee.

Because of his deep involvement and engagement with the community, Dan has a unique understanding of what makes this area such a special place to live and why someone would want to move here. In fact, the vast majority of Dan's business is focused primarily on serving the needs of homeowners and home buyers, both in the Homer Glen area and the surrounding suburbs of Lemont, Lockport, Mokena, New Lenox and Orland Park. As a result of this highly specialized focus, for the past six years (2016-2021) no other realtor has sold more homes in Homer Glen than Dan Kenney.
