Daniel Monat

Dan brings many years of business operating experience as a Director and Sr. Director with Marriott International. During his finance career, Dan served 16 years on the Executive Committees of four hotels within the continental United States, Barbados and the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. His last nine years were on the corporate level overseeing over a billion dollars of the corporate receivables process for franchise hotels. In 2009, Dan retired from Marriott after 25 years and began his commercial real estate career.
Dan focuses 100% of his time on commercial real estate knowledge, relationships, and transactions all in Blount County. In January 2014, Dan joined LeConte Realty as part owner with the goal of developing and leading their Commercial Division.
Dan is very involved in his community as a Board Member for the Downtown Maryville Association, the Boys & Girls Club, and the Maryville Kiwanis Club. Dan also volunteers at the local Food Connection, drives for the SMiles Program, is a Certified Tourism Ambassador, and is very involved with the Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a Maryville City Planning Commissioner.
Dan and his family have resided in Blount County since 2005 and enjoy the beauty of East Tennessee through boating and golfing.
