I have made a career out of “crazy ideas”. When I was in the sports industry I was told by one of the Vice Presents of Kawasaki that advocating and marketing women in Motocross would be as successful as marketing dirt. After being recognized by the American Motorcycle Association for my work in the women’s market I created a T-Shirt that read “I market Dirt”. When I assisted in the launch of a table top pottery wheel we were told it would not sell - it went to #1 in 6 months. When I owned the local music store I was told that giving away guitars would not lead to more students - the number of students doubled. But honestly, I had never gotten a reaction with wider eyes then when I stated that I wanted to open a community out-reach company which catered to Real Estate, Home Improvement and small business owners in the San Diego Country Estates. As a business developer, I have had my share of out of the box ideas, but apparently this was one for the record books. Others were convinced that competing Real Estate Agents, Lenders and Contractors would never gather together for the greater good of a community. Wrong! The Village is comprised of like-minded, generous and talented business professionals ( I lovingly refer to them as the Village People) working together . Which benefits us all.
What is the Village and what do we offer? We opened our doors in May 2017 with the goal of becoming the SDCE’s go-to Real Estate, Mortgage Lending and Home Service Center. We are a one-stop-shop for Real Estate needs. If you want to buy or sell your home, would like to ask a lender some questions, need help with a room addition or need a handyperson we are here to offer our assistance. And as your neighbor, if we don’t have it - we will try and help you find it.
