Amanda Barker is the most spectacular real estate agent I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Within 30 days of meeting with Amanda, I sold my house and bought another -- and closed on both the same day. My house was listed on a Friday afternoon, there was an open house on Sunday, and we had three offers, over asking price, on Sunday night. DC Rise Real Estate - I wanted to take a moment to share how happy my siblings and I are that we chose to go with Joanne to sell our Dad's Lake Carroll home recently. While performing my due diligence in choosing our realtor, I met with 3 realtors including Joanne. After meeting with Joanne, there was no doubt that she was going to be my/our choice. (I met with Joanne last or there would not have been 3 meetings with realtors)

Joanne was GREAT! She was so nice and helpful. She went above and beyond what we could have possibly hoped for! She made a couple of trips out at my request to check on a couple of things during the week as I was not going to be able to get out until the weekend. Joanne and her husband cleared some debris off of the driveway that I was going to take care of once I got out there. We were having some trouble with the lawn mower and Joanne offered to have her husband trailer their mower to the house to take care of it. Fortunately we were able to get our mower going and didn't need to take Joanne up on her very generous offer. Knowing that our family had limited access to the house during the week, Joanne would tidy the house up prior to showings. What a blessing!

Our buyer had an FHA loan that required some additional work be done to the house prior to the sale. Peeling paint and some deck restoration. While my brother and I were out taking care of this, Joanne stopped by with some goodies. What a sweetheart! We were so surprised, but in retrospect, we shouldn't have been surprised at all. That kind gesture just seems to be typical Joanne!

In closing, we were truly blessed to have Joanne on our team for the sale of the Lake Carroll house. We had just lost our Dad and Joanne made a very difficult situation much easier to deal with. We have another family member that owns a home at Lake Carroll and is looking to sell in the near future. They have met with the same realtors as I/we did, including Joanne. I have told them that they need to go with Joanne based on our experience. So, fingers crossed...
