Hailing from Northern Virginia, Dara Martin has been an experienced and professional real estate agent servicing her clients since 2020. With over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, she brings her clients a wealth of knowledge and understanding. Her career began as the Marketing Director for a title company in 2006 and carried on to include real estate asset acquisition and management and working with a large, top-producing team within their management structure. She originally got her license early on to understand better what agents were dealing with. Not long after, the market crashed. While it was devastating, she used this as a learning opportunity to better understand the market, her clients, and what agents need to survive. Ultimately, she went full-time as an agent in 2020 and hasn’t looked back.
She has vast experience working with multiple facets of the industry. Dara works with various clients, including buyers, sellers, investors, and students (she teaches the VA pre-licensing course to others interested in careers in real estate). Her focus is consulting over selling, ensuring her clients are well informed and supported to make the right decisions for themselves. Honesty, transparency, loyalty, and caring are what her clients receive when working with her.
Besides practicing her love for real estate, Dara loves everything art (charcoal drawing, visiting art museums, or just a fun DIY project with the girls), reading, and supporting local animal rescues. Her favorite animal rescues are those that accommodate farm animals. She’s particularly fond of horses.
