Darcey Thomson

Darcey Thomson, licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, entered real estate after 20 years in the world of home design and architecture. Darcey is an agent on the Ritzert Weiss Partners team, which is a top-producing team at TTR Sotheby's International Realty. A DC-area native with a BFA in Architecture (Miami University in Ohio), an MBA (George Washington University), and a decade working at Thomson & Cooke Architects, Darcey's knowledge, experience, and relationships make her uniquely qualified to help clients make informed and thoughtful real estate decisions.

Darcey understands the pre-War houses throughout DC, and what it can take to bring them up to today's living standards, she specializes in helping buyer clients feel confident, informed, and comfortable approaching houses that may need some TLC. And when additional guidance is needed, Darcey provides clients access to her network of contractors, structural engineers, interior designers, and architects. Darcey grew up in Northern Virginia, lived in Northwest DC for ten years, and currently resides in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband and three daughters. Outside of work, Darcey is involved at the Norwood School in Bethesda, MD, and enjoys running, hiking, and is currently renovating a house on the Chesapeake Bay
