I would like to share our new house search and buying process with future buyers. My wife and I immediately contacted the real estate agent who sold my former house in 2012. She sold this house in only 6 days. Remarkable! Her name is D'arcy Amburn. She's a licensed real estate agent with Colony Realty in Winchester, VA. Without the assistance of D'arcy we wouldn't be sitting in our new living room right now as I type this testimony. We previously rented the house we lived in and the owner decided to sell. In April of this year the availability of homes on the market was very slim. The chances of us finding a house in the right location, for our price range, for the size we wanted, for being a 55+ community new construction and the time range we were looking for seemed very remote or virtually impossible. But D'arcy was able to find exactly what we were looking for in a new 55+ community called Cottage Glen. She worked continuously, with professionalism and persistence from the day she found the lot where our new house would be built through the morning of settlement...approximately 3 1/2 months later. She was always available to answer any questions we had about the entire process. Her genuinely caring attitude and quick responses to any situation were truly amazing. D'arcy always had a positive and cheery attitude when dealing with us. We are both thankful and grateful that you were our real estate agent. You were a gem to work with during the entire process. My wife and I will highly recommend you for future buyers or sellers that we hear about in our daily travels. Thanks again, D'arcy!
